Grown without chemical pesticides and fertilizers, these fresh, aromatic and delicious dill leaves are sourced from certified organic farms. These are grown using organic pesticides and fertilizers, making them safe and healthy. Through our farm to store policy, we try to ensure that the dill leaves reach our stores, within 24 hours of harvesting.
Studies show that commercially grown dill leaves may be exposed to chemical herbicides such as pyridate, linuron, trifluralin and pendimethalin. Studies show that the intake of these chemicals may cause problems such as affecting the Red Blood Cells, headache, dizziness, irritation in the eyes and upset stomach.
Appearance: Dill leaves are bright green with thin grass-like leaves. Having a distinct aroma, these leaves have a buttery taste with a warm, grassy aroma and notes of anise and lemon, which is why it is mostly used as a seasoning for salads. Since these are organically grown, without using any artificial methods of farming, they may vary in shape, size and colour. There might be slight colour variation or wilting due to the heat.
