These nutritious long beans are grown using non-GMO seeds, on organic farms that are certified organic. This means that none of the chemicals that might be used in commercial farming are used. No preservatives, growth hormones or artificial colours have been used on these beans. We are continuously striving to ensure that the long beans reach our stores within 24 hours of harvesting.

Abamectin, cypermethrin, methomyl, EPN, carbosulfan, fipronil and cyhalothrin are among the most commonly used pesticides in commercial long beans farming, studies have shown. Studies indicate that these chemicals may cause problems such as facial numbness, tingling of fingers and toes, loss of bladder control, tremors and seizures.

Appearance: Long beans are green coloured elongated rope like pods, with kidney shaped white seeds inside. They have a strong beany taste, not sweet like green beans. These long beans are 100% organically grown, without using any artificial methods of farming. Because of this, they may vary in shape, size and colour. There might be slight colour variation due to the heat

Refrigerated long beans can last for about 7-10 days
