These nutritious and fresh bitter gourds are sourced from certified organic farms, where they are grown using organic farming techniques. Free from chemical pesticides and fertilizers, growth hormones, GMO seeds or artificial colours, these bitter gourds are fresh and healthy. With the help of our farm to store policy, we try to ensure that the produce reaches our stores within 24 hours of harvesting. Bitter gourds are available with us only during the season.

Commercial bitter gourd farming may often involve using chemicals such as deltamethrin, permethrin, malathion and azoxystrobinon during cultivation as per studies. Studies show that these chemicals may lead to vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, dizziness, respiratory and neurological issues.

Appearance: Bitter gourds are medium sized dark green coloured vegetables with a rough and spiky skin. Inside, there are seeds embedded in white flesh. As the name suggests, it tastes bitter. Since these bitter gourds are organically grown without using any artificial methods of farming, they may vary in shape, size and colour. There might be slight colour variation due to the heat.

Shelf Life:

Under room temperature, bitter gourds last for 3-4 days

Refrigerated bitter gourds can last for about 1 week
