Sourced from certified organic farms, our fresh, crunchy and nutritious green capsicums are free from chemical pesticides and fertilizers used in commercial farming. Through our farm to store policy, we try to ensure that the capsicums reach our stores, within 24 hours of harvesting.

Commercially grown green capsicums may contain residues of pesticides such as abamectin, acephate, chlorothalonil, dimethoate and ethion as per studies. In addition, insecticides like thiamethoxam, rynaxypyr, indoxacarb, eco mite, dicofol, fipronil, propargite, etc. may also be used. Researches indicate that these chemicals may cause problems such as chest pain, coughing, diarrhoea, headache, vomiting and confusion. There are studies that show that Thiamethoxam may affect the lifespan of bees and other insects, which are imperative for pollination.

Appearance: Our capsicums are bright green “coloured”, bell shaped, medium-sized fruit pods with a thick shiny coat. There are tiny white seeds inside. Our green capsicums are 100% organically grown, without using any artificial methods of farming. Because of this, they may vary in shape, size and colour. There might be slight colour variation due to the heat.

Shelf Life:

Under room temperature, capsicums last for about 4-5 days

Refrigerated green capsicums can last for 2-3 weeks
