Our wholesome English carrots are cultivated on certified organic farms, using only organic fertilizers and pesticides. These are free from the chemicals used in commercial carrot farming. Our farm to store policy helps us to try and ensure that the produce reaches our store within 24 hours of harvesting. English carrots are available with us only during the season.

Studies show the most commonly used chemicals in commercial carrot farming are trifluralin, linuron, pyraclostrobin and DDE. Studies indicate that these chemicals may cause problems to the eye and skin, respiratory problems, liver damage and more serious health conditions. Linuron may lead to reproductive problems in birds and other animals too.

Appearance: English carrots are root vegetables, usually orange in colour. They are slightly elongated and have a conical shape. Carrots are mildly sweet in taste. Our carrots are 100% organic, and no artificial methods are used during cultivation, which is why they may vary in shape, size and colour. There might be slight colour variation due to the heat.

Shelf Life:

Can stay fresh for 3-5 days under room temperature, if kept away from direct sunlight and heat

Regrigerated carrots kept in wet paper towels may stay fresh up to 2 weeks
