The most commonly used herbicides in commercial coccinia farming are triclopyr and picloram as per studies. Studies indicate that these chemicals may cause problems such as weakness, diarrhoea, vomiting, liver damage and damage to the nervous system.

Appearance: Coccinia are green coloured small vegetables, with white flesh in which many tiny seeds are embedded. They have a slightly earthy flavour. Since this coccinia is organically grown, without using any artificial methods of farming, they may vary in shape, size and colour. There might be slight colour variation due to the heat as well.

Shelf Life:

Under room temperature, coccinias last for 3-4 days

Refrigerated coccinia can last for about 7-10 days
