These organic colocasias are sourced from certified organic farms, where they are grown in adherence with organic farming methods. These are free from chemical pesticides and fertilizers and are safe for your family. Through our farm to store policy, we try to ensure that the colocasia reaches our stores, within 24 hours of harvesting.

Commercially cultivated colocasia may contain residues of chemical chemicals such as chlordimeform, pronamide, metolachlor, diuron, thiobencarb and oxyfluorfen as per studies. Studies have indicated that these chemicals may lead to abdominal cramps, shortness of breath, dark urine, seizures, diarrhoea, nausea, sweating, dizziness and liver problems.

Appearance: Colocasias are yellowish-brown small tubular roots, with a white flesh that becomes slimy when boiled. They have an earthy flavour and mild sweetness. These colocasias are grown organically , without using any artificial methods of farming. Because of this, they may vary in shape, size and colour and there might be slight colour variation due to the heat.

Shelf Life:

Under room temperature, colocasia may last for about a month
