Our ginger is cultivated on certified organic farms and is free from chemicals generally used in commercial farms. Only organic and chemical-free fungicides and fertilizers are used for cultivation. Our store policy helps us to try to source the ginger within 24 hours of harvesting and is available with us throughout the year.

Studies have indicated that chemicals like carbendazim, sulphur, calcium hypochlorite and aldicarb sulfoxide commonly used in commercial ginger farming may cause respiratory disorders and nausea.

Appearance: Ginger rhizomes appear yellow to brownish, and are irregular in shape with a strong aroma. Since our ginger is organic, it might vary in shape and size and there might be slight colour variation due to the heat. No artificial chemicals are used to enhance their shape, size or appearance.

Shelf Life:

Can stay fresh for 5-7 days at room temperature when kept away from direct sunlight and heat.

For storing up to 2 weeks in the fridge, clean and store them in airtight plastic boxes.

Chop the ginger into chunks and store in the freezer for longer shelf life.
