Delight in delicious and sweet Banganpalli mangoes! This variant is grown in and around the town of Banganapalle in Kurnool district in Andhra. It delights with its delicate yellow skin and beautifully sweet flesh. Our Banganpalli mangoes normally arrive at our stores within 24 hours of being harvested. Banganpalli mangoes are available with us only during the season.
Cultivation of mangoes may involve the use of chemicals like cypermethrin, dimethoate, chlorpyrifos and calcium carbide. Studies suggest that these could cause irritation to eyes and skin, burning sensation, loss of bladder control, headaches, nausea and trouble breathing.
Appearance: Mango Banganpalli is known for its largish oval shape, pale yellow skin and soft, sweet flesh. Since these mangoes are grown organically without any artificial methods, they could vary in terms of shape, size and colour. The heat could lead to slight wilting or colour variation.
Shelf life: Under room temperature, mangoes will last for about 5 days
Refrigerated mangoes will last for about 10-12 days.
