Worried about the chemical pesticides used in conventional mushroom cultivation? You don’t have to worry when you choose our button mushrooms - they are grown using organic farming methods with zero chemical pesticides, GMOs and chemical fertilizers. We try and ensure that our button mushrooms reach our stores within 24 hours or harvest as far as possible.

Appearance: Button mushrooms usually have a smooth, white round cap that has brown closed gils below as well as a small stem. They have an earthy taste and a meaty texture. We grow button mushrooms using 100% organic farming methods which mean no artificial growth hormones or colouring agents, chemical pesticides or fertilizers. This is also why they might vary in shape, size and colour. There could also be a slight colour variation due to heat.

Shelf life: Button mushrooms can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days

If stored at room temperature, they will likely remain fresh for a maximum 2 days
