Rich in vitamins, minerals and other nutrients, our papayas are grown on certified organic farms. None of the chemical fertilizers and pesticides used in commercial papaya farming are used in our farms. With our farm to store policy, we try to make sure that the produce reaches our store within 24 hours of harvesting.

Studies show the most commonly used chemicals in commercial papaya farming are Boscalid, Thiabendazole, Azoxystrobin, and Thiamethoxam. Studies indicate that these chemicals may lead to nausea, skin irritation, and breathing troubles. Ethephon, one of the plant growth regulators used on papaya, may cause severe hormonal and reproductive problems.

Appearance: Papayas are usually yellow to orange in colour, shaped like a teardrop. They are usually mildly sweet, and filled with small seeds that look like black peppercorns. Since our papayas are 100% organic, grown without any artificial chemicals, they may vary in shape, size and colour. There might be slight colour variation due to heat.

Shelf Life:

Can stay fresh for 2-3 days under room temperature.

Refrigerated papayas may stay fresh up to 1 week
