Sourced from certified organic farms, these yellow pumpkins are free from chemical pesticides and fertilizers, often used in commercial pumpkin farming. We always try to ensure that the pumpkins reach our stores, within 24 hours of harvesting.

Commercially grown pumpkins may contain residues of pesticides such as carbaryl, carbofuran, bifenthrin, esfenvalerate, fenpropathrin, permethrin and imidacloprid a sper studies. Research indicates that these chemicals can cause problems such as chest pain, coughing, diarrhoea, headache, vomiting and respiratory disorders.

Appearance: Pumpkins are mostly spherical medium-sized fruits with a thick coat that is greenish orange in colour. Pumpkins have a mild sweet and earthy flavour. There are pale white seeds inside. These green pumpkins are 100% organically grown, without using any artificial methods of farming. Because of this, they may vary in shape, size and colour and there could be a slight colour variation due to the heat.

Shelf Life:

Under room temperature, uncut pumpkins last for about 1 month

Refrigerated uncut pumpkins can last for 2 months

Fresh cut pumpkins last for 2-3 days outside and about 1 week in the fridge
