Unlike conventional white rice, red rice is naturally processed and thus, packed with nutrients. Pro Nature Red Poha does not contain preservatives or chemicals and is adulteration-free. Red poha is flavorful and can be used in recipes such as kandha poha. It gets its distinct red color due to the presence of a flavonoid called anthocyanin.

Research shows that pesticides such as MGK-264 and malathion may be extensively used during the conventional cultivation of rice. Moderate exposure to these chemicals can be extremely toxic because they are classified as carcinogens.
