The tea brew is perfectly steeped and then put in fermenting vessels. A special Kombucha culture is introduced to begin the fermentation process once the liquid has cooled. The yeasts and bacteria in the culture react with the nutrients in the sweet tea to release beneficial organic acids, enzymes, B-Vitamins, antioxidants transforming the tea into Kombucha. Mountain Bee Kombucha is traditionally brewed in small batches, bottled raw and unfiltered. Mountain Bee Kombucha is free of preservatives, additives, and adulteration.
Research indicates in some cases conventional fruit juices usually contain added sugars or water, blend of inferior fruit juices, and flavour dyes. These adulterations might lower the nutritional value and flavour of the final product.
