Sourced from certified organic farms, these snake gourds are grown using organic pesticides and fertilizers. The organic snake gourds do not have any chemicals used on them, making them the healthier choice for you and your family. Through our farm to store policy, we try to ensure that the snake gourds reach our stores, within 24 hours of harvesting.

Commercially grown snake gourds may be exposed to chemicals such as trichlorfon, dichlorvos, imidacloprid, carbendazim, mancozeb and chlorothalonil as studies show. Studies suggest that the ingestion of these chemicals may cause problems such as weakness, headache, nausea, lethargy, abdominal cramps, tremors and diarrhoea.

Appearance: Snake gourds are green elongated pods, similar to the body of a snake. Some varieties may have white or light green stripes on the skin. The insides contain white dry flesh with some seeds. They do not have any strong aroma or flavour, and taste a little beany. Since these are 100% organically grown, without using any artificial methods of farming, they may vary in shape, size and colour. There might be slight colour variation due to the heat.
